LAHORE: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said on Friday that there is a possibility of an electoral alliance between JUI-F and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and he has contacted with Shahbaz Shaif in this regard, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.

Speaking to media at the Lahore airport, the JUI-F Chief said that the caretaker government should not be made controversial.

Fazl said that the issue of articles 62 and 63 rests with the Election Commission and it should be left to that to resolve.

The JUI-F chief said that he wants the establishment to remain away from the electoral process, but its interference unfolds afterwards.
