ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Thursday said the disqualified Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif with full backing of the incumbent government was pressurizing the judiciary for taking National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).

Talking to media representatives outside an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad, Imran Khan said the entire Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government was busy in saving the one person, adding all those people were corruption mafia.

Imran Khan said he had appeared before the Court as a common man and he also reacted as a common man.

“I am a common man while Nawaz Sharif is a Mughal-e-Azam,” the PTI Chief said adding Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was a puppet prime minister.

“We will establish the supremacy of law in this Country,” he said.

The Chairman PTI also said Pakistan’s name was being included in the list of international terrorism and the watch list.

Talking about the NA-154 Lodhran-I by-election, Imran Khan said a person (Ali Khan Tareen) who contested the election for the first time bagged 92,000 votes.

Meanwhile, Imran Khan filed a petition in the Court seeking acquittal and exemption from the SSP Asmatullah Junejo torture case.

Imran Khan’s Counsel informed that ATC Judge Shahrukh Arjumand that the cases against his Client were undemocratic.
