ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has urged the International Community to take notice of damage inflicted on the peace process in the region as a result of India’s war jingoism.

In a statement, the PTI Central Secretary General Arshad Dad said that India’s myopic leadership and misplaced priorities overshadow peace in South Asia.

Arshad Sad said that instead of acting upon whims of extremist groups like RSS, Narendra Modi should respond positively to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s call for peace talks.

Hailing Pakistan armed forces, he said that the response over Indian war hysteria was well-measured and resonated the sentiments of Pakistani nation at this crucial time. He said that it is pertinent to respond to those who pose any threat to Country’s sovereignty.

“Today’s response by Pakistan armed forces is a message to the Modi government that our desire for peace should not be comprehended as weakness”, he remarked. “Modi’s lust for power may take matters worse leading to uncontrollable escalation”.

The PTI Central Secretary Information Omer Sarfaraz Cheema also praised the well-measured and calculated response by Pakistan army in the wake of Indian war-mongering.

Omer Cheema said that the professionalism and expertise exhibited by Pakistan armed forces in response to Indian aggression is commendable.

The PTI Central Secretary Information said that Pakistan’s military is fully capable of thwarting Indian aggression and has always shown how to defend its soil. He said that Modi maneuvered to push the Country into a war for his petty political gains.

“It is high time India must heed Pakistan’s voice of peace and dialogue”, he pressed.

Omer Sarfaraz Cheema appreciated the government for the robust reshaping of defense and foreign policies, and said that whole nation steadfastly stands with the government and armed forces against any Indian aggression.
