ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said the Government is committed to hold local council elections in Islamabad Capital Territory at the earliest.

In a statement while presiding a meeting in Islamabad Nisar said that rural and urban divide will be eliminated in the upcoming local government set up being proposed for Islamabad.

The meeting dilated upon the proposed Islamabad Capital Territory Local Bodies Act 2013.
