ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Founding Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday strongly condemned the cowardly attack on PTI Central Information Secretary Raoof Hassan and vowed that PTI would not be deterred by such dirty tactics and violence which only served to expose the perpetrators before the nation.

In his strongly-worded condemnation message, the PTI Founding Chairman said that the entire nation knew who was orchestrating these attacks on PTI’s leadership.

“It’s the same powers that lurk in the shadows and use proxies to harass and threaten judges and make a mockery of elections by brazenly tampering results,” he added.

“Let us make it very clear that PTI will not be deterred by such dirty tactics and violence which only serve to expose the perpetrators before the nation,” Khan vowed.

Separately, the PTI Secretary General and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Omar Ayub also condemned the attack on PTI Central Information Secretary Raoof Hasan in strongest possible words and said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was behind the assault.

The PTI Secretary General said that attack on Raoof Hasan was proof that he was being silenced for speaking the truth.

Omar Ayub called for the Islamabad police chief to apprehend the culprits immediately or resign from his position.
