PoliticsImran Khan slams PML-N for worst power outage in Ramazan

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has condemned in the strongest terms the unabated load-shedding across the Country.

In a statement on Thursday, Imran Khan slammed Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) for the worst power outage across the Country in the Holy month of Ramazan. He said that unavailability of electricity in scorching heat is barbarism.

“People are deprived from observing the holy month with its true spirit”, he lamented while the holding former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Nawaz Sharif responsible for the crisis.

Imran Khan said that Nawaz Sharif and his Darbaris kept the nation in the dark during their five years tenure about the addition of thousands of megawatts to the national grid. He went on adding that contrary to their bogus claims, the circular debt has soared to a new record.

“In the wake of recent episodes of load-shedding, it has become inevitable to scrutinize the whole process of installation of power projects by the PML-N government”, Imran Khan.

The Chairman PTI pressed the caretaker government to devise a suitable load-management plan and provide relief to the masses.

Concluding the statement, he resolved that the PTI government will come-up with effective and sustainable strategies to deal with the crisis.
