ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman-for-life Imran Khan has nominated Ali Amin Gandapur for the Chief Ministership of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The PTI emerged as the single largest party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province after its backed Independent Candidates won 90 provincial seats in general elections held on February 08, 2024.
Holding informal talks with reporters inside the Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail on Tuesday, Imran Khan ruled out the possibility of any talks with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to form a government.
Imran Khan said that he met with the PTI Secretary Information Rauf Hassan, and asked to negotiate with all political parties except PML-N, PPP, and MQM to reach a consensus over forming a coalition government.
The PTI Chief also denied holding any talks with any top government official at jail after the elections. He also dismissed reports that he was shifting to Bani Gala.
