ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar has said that the Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and the Secretary General Jahangir Tareen are disqualified since birth.
His remarks came hours before a three-member bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan headed by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar is set to announce its decision in the disqualification case against Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen.
Talking to media representatives in Islamabad on Friday, Captain (retd) Safdar said that the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification was a conspiracy against the state.
Captain Safdar said that Nawaz Sharif brought the world closer through China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), adding that China gave the former prime minister a Loan of $60 billion.
“I challenge, no one can get loan from China now,” he said.
The PML-N leader further said that if the Parliament was respected, an officer of grade 20 had not called him a fraud.
Separately, the Federal Minister for Privatization and PML-N leader Daniyal Aziz also said while talking to media that there wasn’t any corruption case against Nawaz Sharif. He said that one need not to be a Member of Parliament for taxation theft, adding that lawyer Anwar Mansoor admitted that PTI did taxation theft.
Daniyal Aziz said that Imran Khan called it a mistake for concealing his assets details in nomination papers.
