Islamabad, Pakistan: Special Assistant to Prime Minister Faisal Karim Kundi has said that Imran Khan belongs to a family of corrupt as his father Ikranulllah Khan Niazi, and another Niazi were sacked by former Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto because they were found in the category of extreme corrupt government officials.

While addressing a press conference along with Senator Plosha, Akhwanzada Pathan, and Nazir Dhoki here in Islamabad, Kundi was of the view that Imran Khan belonged to a certified corrupt family and he had been ruining the country in vendetta about what had happened to his father.

He was of the view that Haqeeqi Azadi of Imran Khan was an agenda against the prosperity of the country and he had failed to attract the public that had rejected him and his politics of negativity and political radicalization. He was of the opinion that Prime Minister Shabaz Sharif and his team including Bilawal Bhutto Zardari are working to mend walls with friendly countries that were damaged by the PTI government in Pakistan.

It is pertinent to mention that investigations against the most corrupt were started during Yahya Khan’s military regime and it was found that 303 civil servants and government functionaries were the most corrupt and they were consequently sacked from their services.

In 1976, Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto also enacted the Holders of Representative Offices Act and the Parliament and Provincial Assemblies (Disqualification for Membership) Act in 1976 to clamp down on corruption in the country. The father of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his family were found involved in large-scale corruption.
