ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Vice Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Tuesday said the Chairman PTI Imran Khan and the Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) Chief Akhtar Mengal had reached a consensus over six points.
Talking to media representatives, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Imran Khan had been briefed about the demands put forward by Akhtar Mengal, and the former also endorsed those demands.
Qureshi said matters between both the parties were expected to be settled. He said the meeting between Imran Khan and Akhtar Mengal would take place soon.
In addition, he said negotiations with the Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) Cheif Shahzain Bugti were also underway.
It is pertinent to mention here that a two-member PTI delegation including Naeem-ul-Haq and Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind met the BNP-M Chief Akhtar Mengal at Balochistan House in Islamabad on August 2, and asked him to join the PTI-led government alliance in the Centre.
The BNP-M Chief forwarded six demands to PTI, and agreed to negotiate with Imran Khan on the matter.
