ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Iranian President Hassan Rouhani held a telephonic conversation with the Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Wednesday, and invited him to visit Tehran.
In a press release, the PTI Central Media Department said that Imran Khan accepted the invitation extended by Hassan Rouhani to visit Iran, saying that Pakistan wants to establish special trade relations with Iran.
Imran Khan told Hassan Rouhani that Pakistan also wishes to have further improved diplomatic relations with Iran.
It was agreed that after the completion of transfer of power process in Islamabad, the Foreign Ministries of both the Countries would finalize the visit by Imran Khan to Tehran.
The Iranian president said that Pakistan and Iran are not merely neighbors, rather they share bonds of religion and culture. He said that he wishes to see more strengthened and increased relations between Pakistan and Iran.
