ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Thursday asked his supporters to immediately refrain from targeting Ayesha Gulalai’s sister, Maria Toorpakai Wazir who is a national squash player.

“My request to all PTI supporters is to immediately refrain from targeting Ayesha Gulalai’s sister,” Imran Khan wrote on his Official Twitter account.

Maria Toorpakai came under fire after her elder sister Ayesha Gulalai made shocking revelations, accusing Imran Khan of sending her inappropriate text messages and also causing insult to women in PTI.

Ayesha Gulalai, who received the membership of National Assembly on reserved seat awarded by PTI in 2013, also alleged that Western Culture was being promoted in PTI.

Her severe allegations against Imran Khan and PTI’s top leadership prompted a harsh criticism especially in Social Media by PTI supporters who also questioned the dressing of Ayesha Gulalai’s sister Maria while playing squash, which according to PTI supporters, was totally contrary to Pakistani and especially Pakhtun Culture.

In addition, the PTI leadership also accused the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), its President for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Muqam and Geo/Jang group of using Ayesha Gulalai for their vested interests.

“After seeing their efforts to get me disqualified & their smear campaigns ag me all fail, PMLN is moving to do what it does best,” the PTI Chairman further said in twitter.

In her revelations, Ayesha Gulalai also alleged that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak had massively been involved in corruption, and he had also illegally appointed his relatives on various seats in the province.

“Try & purchase it’s a way into toppling the legitimate KP govt. Rest assured there will be no counter offers/Changa Mangas,” Imran said. “Let those who sell their souls expose themselves.”
