ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Engineer Iftikhar Chaudhary and Ahmed Waqas Janjua have been appointed as the Deputy Information Secretaries of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) with immediate effect.
In this regard, notifications have been issued by the Central Secretary Information PTI Ahmed Jawad.
Meanwhile, the Chairman Parliamentary Committee on CPEC Arbab Sher Ali met the PTI Central Secretary Information Ahmad Jawad the Party’s Central Secretariat in Islamabad on Monday, and congratulated him over assuming the Office of Secretary Information.
In the meeting, both sides discussed various aspects of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
While speaking on the occasion, Arbab Sher Ali said that CPEC is an emblem of friendship and a great harbinger of economic integration between China and Pakistan.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan accords top priority to the project as it will help in boosting trade relations between the two countries,” he said.
Ahmed Jawad thanked Arbab Sher Ali for paying visit to the Central Secretariat. He reiterated PTI’s resolve to counter every move that aims at sabotaging the project.
In the meeting, the Vice President PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nawaz Mehmood and the Provincial Information Secretary Najiullah Khattak were also present.
