LAHORE, Pakistan: The Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that we will fulfill the dream of Imran Khan’s New Pakistan at any cost.

Talking to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) newly elected Senator Dr Shahzad Waseem in Lahore on Thursday, the Chief Minister felicitated Shahzad him over his victory, and said that his success is the victory of Imran Khan’s New Pakistan.

Usman Buzdar said that another capable and loyal player of the Captain has reached the Upper House of the Parliament. He said in the journey of Change Shahzad Waseem will utilize all his abilities.

The Chief Minister said that through devotion, determination and hard work we will establish a New Pakistan. He said that in New Pakistan a layman will live a respectable life.

The Punjab Chief Minister said that the new local bodies system will give a new direction to the public service. He said that the provincial government is committed to remove disparity between poor and rich across the province.

The PTI’s Candidate Dr Shahzad Waseem won the by-election for a general Senate seat from Punjab by securing 181 votes.

His opponent Pakistan Muslim league-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Khawaja Ahmad Hassaan got 169  votes while one vote got rejected in the electoral process held at the Punjab Assembly in Lahore on Wednesday.
