LAHORE, Pakistan: The former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan made it clear that days of political engineering by the establishment were long gone while the politics of ideology was back and would prevail in Pakistan come what may.

While addressing the nation on Monday night through social media, the PTI Chairman said that efforts were afoot to split PTI through political engineering and to form new parties because they did not break the vote bank of the PTI.

However, Imran Khan said that he was wonder what was the logic behind all this, adding that do they have any understanding of history, do they have any understanding of politics.

The former prime minister stated that look at the faces of people who were going to other parties, as disenchantment and disillusionment could visibly be seen on their faces because they were well-aware of the fact that were forced to commit political suicide to part ways with PTI as they were not leaving PTI happily.

Imran Khan went on to say that when people were being blackmailed like that, as two were taken there straight from jail, who were not happy because they knew that this was their political death, because it was evident people would not vote for them.

The PTI leader vowed that if anyone had any doubt, it would be cleared whenever the elections would be held, as the people would inflict humiliating defeat on the all the cabal of crooks who had been sucking the blood of the countrymen for the last 30 years.

The PTI Chairman said that it was first time in the history of Pakistan after 1970 that ideological politics was taking place, adding that there were big names in 1970, in West Pakistan Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s ideology triumphant and secured 84 seats.

Similarly, the PTI Chairman recalled that in East Pakistan, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman swept the polls and won 162 seats, who was also talking about real freedom, as he was saying that they were deprived of their basic constitutional rights, which PTI had been saying since 27 years ago that only justice liberated man.

Imran said that political situation was misread at that time, which eventually led to dismemberment of Pakistan and the same thing was happening again today, as PTI secured comfortably victory in by-polls despite the help of the establishment.

The PTI Chairman stated that he was the man who started politics from zero and gradually and without any short cuts made PTI the largest and only federal political party of the country.

Imran Khan continued that no one had the experience that he had because someone’s father, mother or grandfather was in politics, as General Zia and General Jilani took pity on a businessman and he became a politician and now their children were in politics.

The former premier alarmed that the present policy of coercion and oppression only increased hatred and bigotry among the people.

The PTI Chairman revealed that there was a plan to somehow disqualify Imran Khan or put him in jail as soon as the election was announced, adding that he was ready for all situation and even he told his party that from next week he might not be with them.

However, Imran Khan asked that whether this political engineering would succeed, adding that if this election was not conducted properly, it would not bring political stability to the Country and without it, economic stability would not come, resultantly the Country would further sink into debt trap.

The PTI leader reiterated that only free, fair and transparent elections could save the country but the establishment was going the other way, adding that the plan was to form small parties and gave them a small number of seats to create a hung parliament so as the establishment could control Pakistan.

Imran stated that this would not help fix the country’s problems except an elected government came into being through a fair and transparent election.

Imran Khan made it clear that the experiments they were doing had already failed, as the politics of the 90s had ended in this Country, adding that gone are the days when PML-Q was formed by General Musharraf. He stated that now the second period had come and it was the time to conduct clean and transparent elections and then bring stability to the country and fix the economy.

The PTI Chairman expressed his shock over the massive exodus of professionals leaving Pakistan and said that people were leaving the Country due to the prevailing law of the jungle and rising despondency and hopelessness.

Imran Khan alarmed that 1.2 million Pakistanis left the Country, adding that these were the people whom the world was ready to welcome in their countries because they were professional and skilled people, who could go anywhere in the world.

The PTI leader said that these were the people who could move a society forward, whom this country needed a lot but now they had left because they had lost hope in this Country because those who had been looting the money of the country for 30 years were imposed on the nation again. He said that the people were really shock and disappointed when people saw that the Country’s establishment also stood with these criminal mafia.

The former prime minister stated that every attempt was being used to crush the largest political party of the country, which had more than 70 percent popularity.

Furthermore, he reiterated that the drama of May 9 was done to use the incident an excuse to crush the PTI, which, he said, would be proved as how it was planned whenever PTI got a chance, adding that who would attack his army.

Imran Khan said that can someone win by attacking his army, should they have attacked the army through these innocent people?

The PTI Chairman went on to say that the media has been silenced, a propaganda campaign was launched through the media and an attempt was made to tell people that they are traitors to the Country.

PTI Chairman said that the people were well-aware of the looters and patriots, adding that they reached to the point where if they did not fix the governance and justice system, the situation could further deteriorate.

Imran Khan said that how they had to increase the dollar inflow in the country, how to reduce the expenses, how to make the governance system so that foreign investors can come to Pakistan, how to make them trust our justice system.

The PTI Chairman said that when he spoke to the Chinese premier about setting up Chinese industries in Pakistan, he said that their industrialists said that the problem was that Pakistan took too much time, as their system was too slow and they did not have enough time.

Imran Khan said that for all these reforms, it was necessary that a strong and stable government should come through free, fair and transparent elections by rejecting political engineering because only undisputed polls could ensure lasting political stability in the country.
