ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister for Privatization Daniyal Aziz on Tuesday said there was no reason to have early elections in the Country, a key demand of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Talking to a Private News Channel, Daniyal Aziz said the Chairman PTI Imran Khan was scared to face the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) in 2018 general elections.
Daniyal said the people of Pakistan had shown confidence on PML-N in previous elections and it was not being digested by the political rivals. He said the more Sharif family is exploited, the more love they would receive from the public.
Expressing reservations over Court’s decision on Panama, he said even a terrorist had the right to appeal but in that Case a prime minister was denied that right and was disqualified from his office.
“Our basic appeal was that a lot of things happened for the first time but free trial and right to appeal was ignored,” he said.
Daniyal highlighted the flaws in Justice System and said “We want justice because we think how will a common man get justice when a prime minister was deprived of it”.
The privatization minister said he was hopeful that the party would fare even better in the 2018 elections, adding the people would give their decision regarding Nawaz Sharif ‘eligibility’ then.
The minister said now we would bring the Case of Nawaz Sharif to the public Court as the people would vote for PML-N in the upcoming by-election in order to protect the sanctity of the vote and correct the misdeed that had been done to Nawaz Sharif.
