ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister for Privatization Daniyal Aziz has sought apology from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Naeem-ul-Haq over the incident of slapping.
Naeem-ul-Haq slapped Daniyal Aziz when the latter called him ‘thief’ amid heated arguments in Geo News’ programme ‘Aapas Ki Baat’ on Tuesday night.
While it was an unfortunate spur of the moment reaction, Danial Azizs abusive language against PTI leadership and his attack on Pakistan army are regrettable unacceptable and condemnable. I hope he can mend his ways and stop spinning mistruths.

While talking to media outside the Accountability Court in Islamabad on Thursday morning, Daniyal Aziz said that Naeem-ul-Haq should seek apology from me.
The minister said that I had already said that PTI leadership is thief. “I still stand by my words,” he remarked.
Daniyal Aziz said that Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen have given written statement that they were tax evaders. He said that Imran Khan took advantage of Amnesty Scheme, adding that Tax Amnesty Scheme falls in the category of theft.
“Thanks to the government that it didn’t take any action,” he said.
The minister for privatization further said that Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen are certified thieves.
“I challenge Naeem-ul-Haq to prove that Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen are not thieves,” the minister added.
