TAXILA, Pakistan: The ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) defiant leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday reiterated his stance that he wasn’t ready to accept Maryam Nawaz as his leader.

“I refused to work under Maryam Nawaz. I said that i cannot work under children,” Chaudhry Nisar while addressing a Press Conference in Taxila.

Chaudhry Nisar also expressed distress and agonies, saying “I was disappointed from the party that is why i side myself.”

Moreover, Chaudhry Nisar said now he would become more active in politics, admitting that he was going through a difficult time.

Talking about the PML-N’s anti-judiciary narrative, Chaudhry Nisar said the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had repeatedly said that he did not want confrontation with institutions. He said Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and the Punjab Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif also did not want confrontation with institutions.

The PML-N leader said it would be decided after the 2018 general elections that who would become the Country’s prime minister.

Chaudhry Nisar also said Tariq Fatimi’s name was not mentioned in Dawn Leaks report, adding he didn’t know who expelled him? He said he had written a letter to Nawaz Sharif, asking him to summon a meeting of the PML-N’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) wherein he would brief all participants about Dawn Leaks. He said if the CEC meeting was not called, he might think of making the Dawn Leaks report public.
