ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced that by-elections in 23 National and Provincial Assemblies Constituencies will take place on April 21, 2024.

As per the schedule issued by the ECP, the Candidates will file their nomination papers with the Returning Officer (RO) from March 16 to 18 while their names of the nominated Candidates will be published on March 18.

The last date for the scrutiny of nomination papers by the RO has been set as March 21 whereas the March 25 is the last date for filing of appeals against acceptance or rejection of nomination papers by the Retuning Officer.

Likewise, March 28 is the last date for deciding of appeals by the Appellate Tribunal and the same day, the revised list of Candidates will be published.

The Election Commission has set March 29 as the last date for the withdrawal of Candidates and the publication of their revised list.

The election symbol will be allotted to Contesting Candidates on March 30.

  2. NA-44 Dera Ismail Khan-I
  3. NA-119 Lahore-III
  4. NA-132 Kasur-II
  5. NA-196 Kamber-Shahdadkot-I
  6. NA-207 Shaheed Benazirabad-I
Punjab Assembly Constituencies:
  1. PP-22 Chakwal-Cum-Talagang
  2. PP-32 Gujrat-VI
  3. PP-36 Wazirabad-II
  4. PP-54 Narowal-I
  5. PP-93 Bhakkar-V
  6. PP-139 Sheikhupura-IV
  7. PP-147 Lahore-III
  8. PP-149 Lahore-V
  9. PP-158 Lahore-XIV
  10. PP-164 Lahore-XX
  11. PP-266 Rahim Yar Khan-XII
  12. PP-290 Dera Ghazi Khan-V
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Constituencies:
  1. PK-22 Bajaur-IV
  2. PK-91 Kohat-II
