ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership vehemently denounced the mid-night operation of CDA bulldozing the party Central Secretariat, terming the mandate thieves this shameful act a direct attack on democracy and an act of fascism.

PTI leaders said that the puppet rulers seized powers through polls fraud were doing all these shameful deeds to establish one man dictatorship in the country, which the nation would not allow to happen under any circumstances.

Speaking at a press conference along with PTI senior leaders Sardar Muhammad Latif Khan Khosa, Ali Muhammad Khan and Shaukat Mahmood Basra, PTI Central Secretary Information Raoof Hasan strongly condemned demolition of PTI central office and the registering of cases of terrorism.

PTI CIS demanded strict accountable of those responsible for this heinous act. He stated that the responsibility of the entire situation squarely lies on the government of touts. Raoof made it clear that neither the PTI leadership nor the workers and suppers could be intimidated and petrified through such shameful acts.

He said that they had been enduring the state tyranny and reign of terror for the past two years but nothing could dampen the courage and spirit of PTI leaders and workers rather the state coercive measures further strengthened their resolve and commitment with the noble cause to make Pakistan a truly independent country.

Raoof vowed that they would fight against the one person dictatorship till last breath to ensure supremacy of constitution and uphold rule of law in the country but would not bow down or surrender under any circumstances.

PTI CIS reminded that Islamabad Police raided PTI Central office two days ago in presence of UN delegation and even they were harassed and their vehicles were searched by police, adding the party Secretariat was again attacked last night and the situation of the office is in front of everyone.

He pointed out that the non-representative government was leaving to stone unturned and was using all brutal and fascist tactics to dismantle PTI, but it has miserably failed.

Raoof stated that the drama of May 9 false flag operation was staged and subsequently unleashed an unending series of violation of constitution and law coupled with state operation with sole objective to defeat PTI in the general elections.

He said that the people of the country frustrated all their nefarious plots and inflicted humiliating drubbing on PTI’s opponents but the party was deprived of public mandate through midnight polls robbery.

PTI CIS emphasised that PTI Founder lives in the hearts of millions of countrymen; hence dismantling PTI was out of question.

On the occasion, Latif Khosa said that the conspiracy to dismantle Pakistan’s largest political party was no more a secret and bulldozing and sealing of the party central office was continuation of the same malicious scheme.

He said that PTI Punjab office was already sealed and goods worth millions of rupees also stolen from the office, besides detaining the owner of the building. Khosa warned that these actions were sowing the seeds of hatred and anger among the people.

PTI leader blasted the mandate thieves for onslaught on the judiciary in order to pressurise it to get favourable decisions, adding that they should be ashamed for discussing cases on the floor of the house that were being heard in the courts.

Khosa said that those who used to say that respect the vote should also be ashamed, as they all fraudulently seized the powers.

He vowed that PTI stood with the judiciary and judges like iron wall and no one would be allowed to insult judges or undermine the judiciary come what may.

He asked that those who were playing the role of proxies should come to the open and show their strength in public.

Khosa predicted that the tyrant system would not last longer. “I expect that PTI Founding Chairman would be summoned by the court and the proceedings would be live telecast.

Ali Muhammad Khan termed the last night on PTI central office as attack on Pakistan’s democracy, which showed that the space for politics was being eliminated and shrunk in the country.

He warned that when the parties’ offices were closed, it tantamount to provide opportunity to miscreants, which was regrettable.

PTI MNA said that PTI founder has given awareness to the people due to which young and educated people joined the politics from across the country.

He stated that the last night attack had no implications on the ideology of the party because it was a building and even they would hold PTI Core Committee meeting on the debris of the demolished building. However, Ali Muhammad lamented that he was sorry for the injustice being done to the greatest leader of Pakistan.

PTI leader narrated that what happened to PTI’s workers and leaders, as the mother of the nation, 80-year-old cancer survivor Dr. Yasmin Rashid was battling for life and death in hospital, adding that what happened to Raoof Hasan was in front of everyone.

He demanded that Imran Khan should be presented in the SC in person in NAB amendment case and he should be deprived of his constitutional and legal rights under the pretext of security concerns.

PTI leader expressed deep regret over not inviting the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the SIFC meeting and said what message was being given to Pakhtuns as they were not being given the right live in Pakistan.

He said that PTI founder had been kept in death cell but despite all these atrocities, he asked them to hold talks, hoping that this night of cruelty and ignorance would end soon and Imran Khan would soon be the Prime Minister of Pakistan again.
