The Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed the resolve to continue the struggle to fulfill the mission of his mother – the former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto – for a strong and democratic Pakistan.

In his message on the 65th birthday anniversary of Benazir Bhutto being celebrated on Thursday, Bilawal Bhutto said that he stands firm on his mother’s mission which would lead towards a prosperous, stable and democratic Pakistan.

Bilawal said that Benazir Bhutto struggled against dictatorship throughout her life, and her endeavors have brought about a beacon of hope for future generations.

The Chairman PPP also said that Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto always considered each Pakistani child as her own child and loved them. He said that Benazir Bhutto sacrificed her life for children’s future.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the former prime minister initiated the anti-polio drive in 1994 with an aim to the save children’s future.

Bilawal in his message also highlighted the endeavors undertaken by Benazir Bhutto for women’s rights such as establishment of Women Police Stations and the first Women Bank.

The Chairman PPP said that Benazir also launched the missile program to make Pakistan’s defence impregnable. He said that she also took initiatives at federal and provincial level to ensure prosperity across the Country.

In addition, Bilawal Bhutto hoped that the people would vote for PPP in 2018 general elections, and they would succeed to accomplish Benazir Bhutto’s mission.

In connection with Benazir Bhutto’s 65th birthday anniversary, the main event is being held today at Begum Nusrat Bhutto Hall in Larkana, in which the PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other party leaders will address.

Separately, a ceremony was also being held at the PPP Central Secretariat in Islamabad wherein the former Chairman Senate Nayyar Hussain Bukhari and other PPP leaders would shed lights on Benazir Bhutto’s life.
