ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chief of Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) Akhtar Mengal is likely to arrive at Banigala in Islamabad on Monday evening to meet the Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan, sources said.
Sources said that delegation of PTI and BNP-M will meet today, and they are expected to reach a consensus over formation of the government in the Center.
Earlier on August 2, a PTI delegation comprising Naeem-ul-Haq and Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind met Akhtar Mengal at Balochistan House in Islamabad, and sought cooperation to make the government in the Center.
Akhtar Mengal put forward six demands, one of which was about missing persons, before PTI to support Imran Khan-led party in the Central government.
Sources said that the Chairman PTI Imran Khan has endorsed all demands of Akhtar Mengal, and the latter will meet the former at Banigala today.
Meanwhile, a meeting of the PTI’s Parliamentary Committee will be held at Marriot Hotel in Islamabad today afternoon with Imran Khan in the Chair. The Parliamentary Committee will nominate Imran Khan as the PTI Candidate for the slot of Prime Minister.
The PTI members of the Khyber Pakhtukhwa Assembly will meet on Tuesday where PTI lawmakers in the Punjab Assembly will meet on Wednesday, and will discuss the future course of action regarding the formation of governments and their functions.
