ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday said voices were being raised from inside and outside against the verdict given against him, adding the aftershocks would continue against such decisions and those aftershocks were difficult to be controlled.

Talking to media outside the Accountability Court in Islamabad where he reached for hearing of Al-Azizia and Flagship references filed by National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Nawaz Sharif said decision against him was given as per Black Law Dictionary which had no space in Pakistani law.

Nawaz Sharif said Societe Generale Surveillance (SGS) and Cotecna Corruption Cases against Asif Ali Zardari were of Rs 1 billion. Likewise corruption of billions of rupees was done in NAB’s Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) Case while corruption of billions of rupees was also done in National Insurance Corporation Limited (NICL) and Rental Power Plants, he said.

But, he added, the only Case was his where there were no prove of any corruption.

“The weak decisions are always criticized. Such decisions cause problems and decline,” the former prime minister said.

Meanwhile, the Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir summoned the Head of Joint Investigation Team (JIT) Wajid Zia on next hearing while adjourning the hearing till March 29.
