ISLAMABAD: A Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) politician has accused Punjab government of spending public money on its media campaign of the upcoming general election.

In a letter written to Secretary Election Commission, PTI’s Ishaq Khan Khakwani complained that Punjab government has violated the Election Commission of Pakistan’s code of conduct through a media blitz that runs on taxpayers’ money and projects Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
