Political DiscourseImran Khan confirms he orders hate campaigns against the Pakistan Army

Islamabad, Pakistan: After efficaciously handling political space through Supreme Court’s hearings where judges called him ‘not an ordinary prisoner’, Imran Khan has again launched a full-fledged assault on the Pakistan Army and Pakistan’s economy through the latest posts on PTI’s official X space and website.

Khan who had been losing strength in public and whose several political calls to his followers to hold protests were unheard, got a new political life through observations of the higher judiciary that have placed him at the Centre stage of Pakistan’s politics as judge of Supreme Court vindicated him ‘not an ordinary prisoner’ and a ‘person who has millions of followers’.

Judges of the Supreme Court while hearing the NAB laws case observed that they were not happy to see Imran Khan in jail while Justice Athar Minallah while writing his dissenting note in the Supreme Court of Pakistan’s ruling against live-streaming the proceedings of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) law amendments case wrote that former prime minister Imran Khan is not an ordinary accused because millions of people follow him. His observations uncovered the fact that Pakistan’s higher judiciary segregates convicts into different categories, some accused are special to the judiciary if they have street power and some are ordinary who are resourceless and do not have political followers.  Virtually, the higher judiciary in Pakistan has testified that citizens are not equal in front of the law although the principle of equality is the essence of the Jurisprudence and Islamic laws.

There is no doubt that Imran Khan is infamous for targeting state institutions and spreading hate against the Pakistan Army. Still, he is enjoying the level of comfort in jail that nobody could ever imagine in the prison history of Pakistan. He has been getting exceptional legal relief from the courts. Now courts are sending a message to the public that judges are not happy to see him in jail. Such observations coming from the higher judiciary are surely sending a message that Imran Khan is a victim, not a culprit because no judge can say he is not happy to see a culprit in jail. Such observations are helping PTI media managers to propagate their claims that “Khan is innocent and he is a political victim like Nelson Mandela”.
Interestingly the government released some photos of his jail barrack showing that he is an avid reader of political stalwarts like Nelson Mandela, and Benazir Bhutto, philosophers like Allama Iqbal, and the best journalist of her era Oriana Fallaci who was an Italian journalist and author, and became famous worldwide for her book “Interview with History” that contains interviews with Indira Gandhi, Golda Meir, Yasser Arafat, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Willy Brandt, Shah of Iran Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, and Henry Kissinger, South Vietnamese President Nguyễn Văn Thiệu, and North Vietnamese General Võ Nguyên Giáp during the Vietnam War.

This photo could be considered the best propaganda piece in favor of Imran Khan which was released by the government, sending a message to the public that he is inspired by such personalities who fought for the freedom of thought. Whosoever made photos of his cell had done a great service to Imran who pitched the public against the State and left no institution in the country that had not been virtually lynched by his hatemongering social media brigades is now being portrayed through such photos that he is a person who gets his inspiration from Islamic history as well as history of resistance.

After the release of anti-patriotic videos and controversial content through the official X account of PTI, Imran Khan was acquitted from the Cipher case. It could be just a coincidence or acquittal could be the result of the virtual lynching of judges of higher judiciary are facing through PTI social media platforms.

It is a proven fact that the targets of Imran Khan were the Pakistan Army, Judiciary, youth, religion, and economic opportunities of Pakistan therefore after getting a special status from the higher judiciary and acquittal from the cipher case, he did not waste time in launching another hate campaign targeting chief of Pakistan Army COAS Gen Asim Munir and against SIFC project that is being considered a lifeline for Pakistan’s future economic roadmap. It may be remembered that during his government, he made CPEC a controversial project and halted this project for over three years because the CPEC project was considered a game changer for Pakistan.

If reviewed, the fruits of the joint efforts of the current political and military leadership for the country have started to be seen – Pakistan Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Asim Munir along with a high-level delegation are currently on an official visit to China, and positive and news are coming from Beijing. On the other hand, the big news is that Pakistan has again been elected as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, which is proof of successful global diplomacy. Moreover, successful negotiations with the IMF are paying off and government policies have resulted in an incredible reduction in inflation as a relief to the masses.

These are some of the factors mentioned above that are not paying attention to by PTI and his founding Chairman former prime minister Imran Khan that is why they use the social media platform to spread confusion, frustration, and uncertainty in the public through daily new negative narratives. The operatives who are currently sitting abroad, including Gibran Elias and the Zionist facilitators of Imran Khan in the Western world, have been fully mobilized. It is felt that with the help of these facilitators, Imran Khan wants to put such a picture of Pakistan in front of the world in which the impression that (God forbids) Pakistan is on the verge of being declared a failed state as Pakistan is going through the worst political uncertainty and it especially the young generation is disappointed with the future of the country. Reliable sources are pointing out that the top leadership of the particular political party has gradually distanced itself from this social media content that is surely anarchic in nature and anti-patriotic. In this context, the statements of Raoof Hasan, Ali Muhammad Khan, and Shandana Gulzar are in front of everyone.

After defeating the Vote of No-confidence in the National Assembly, in April 2022, Imran Khan expressed his desire to see Pakistan as a failed state and his party wrote letters to the IMF to stop loans to Pakistan and also to the United Nations demanding Pakistan must be penalized for alleged human rights abuses. Now the target is SIFC because this project is as important for Pakistan as the CPEC was. There are unconfirmed reports that PTI would write letters to GCC countries that they should not invest in SIFC projects because the PTI would dismantle this initiative after coming into power. Moreover, PTI is also writing letters to European countries that they should not go into any contract for a long period because PTI would review all international contracts after coming into power. Such letter writing would send negative indicators to potential investors because huge foreign investments are always for a period of 10 to 30 years.

Here are some critically important questions:

Why did Imran Khan waive the cipher in the public meeting and use the cipher for political purposes?

Why does Imran Khan always try to harm the country politically, economically, and socially?

Is not Imran Khan responsible for a direct attack on the state on May 9?

Does Imran Khan want to prove himself as Sheikh Mujib by proving similarities with the 1971 scenario targeting today’s military leadership for what happened in 1971? Sheikh Mujib repeatedly admitted that he had been working on Bangla nationalism since the mid-1960s. The statements of the then Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and communications with Sheikh Mujib are there with evidence. The question is for whom Imran Khan is playing the role that Sheikh Mujib played for India and on whose agenda Imran Khan is working?

In the last two years, Imran Khan has proved that his party is not a political party, but an anarchic group that has become a victim of stubbornness and ego of one individual who wants to gain power by defaming and even destroying the state institutions.

It has been proven again that PTI would not stop its strategy to attack Pakistan’s interest globally but it is also a proven fact that Imran Khan would continue to get special treatment from the higher judiciary and his beneficiaries still operating within the state system would continue to help him who has managed a comfortable prison for him and who could be behind releasing photos of his jail cell that sent a message to the public that Imran Khan is a literary person, inspired by personalities who dedicated their lives for freedom of expression and freedom of thought.
