The Punjab Police have thwarted an attack by Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists on a Check-Post in Mianwali and foiled their nefarious plan.

In a statement on Monday, the Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi paid glowing tribute to the bravery of Punjab Police for thwarting the attack of Khwarji terrorists in the Check-Post of Isa Khel Police Station.

The interior minister said that police gave a befitting response to a group of 14 terrorists, and thwarted their evil intentions.

“I appreciate the professionalism and courage of the policemen who foiled the attack by Khwarji terrorists,” the minister said.

The minister said that the police have always shown bravery and courage in the war against terrorism. He said that in the war against terrorism, the police have played an exemplary role.
