HYDERABAD: As many as 38 suspects were arrested after police and Rangers on Wednesday morning started a crackdown against criminals in different areas of Hyderabad, the second largest city of the Sindh province.

Police sources said that police and Rangers conducted a joint operation in Hala Naka and other adjoining slum areas on Wednesday morning, took 38 Afghan nationals into custody and also seized weapons including repeaters pistols, SMG guns, and shotguns from their possession.

Police claimed that the suspects were involved in streets crimes and various cases.
