GUJRANWALA, Pakistan: The activists of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) allegedly attacked the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Azadi march in Gujranwala on Friday, injuring several PTI workers.

Moreover, according to the PTI’s official Facebook page and Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, five gunshots were fired at the PTI’s Chairman Imran Khan’s container in the area.

The PTI claimed that many party’s workers were badly injured by the PML-N workers in the attack.

The PTI’s official Facebook page reads;

“PTI is a peaceful political party and our workers have exemplified restraint today on the instructions of the PTI leadership! PML(n) goons threw rocks at PTI workers from police cars and fired 5 gunshots at Chairman Imran Khan’s container.

Our worker Malik Muneeb Khokhar among many others have been brutally injured and we are proud that the brave Pakistani’s did not react to the Gullu Butt’s of PML(n). It is laughable that those in power call themselves legitimate, when they are nothing but a bunch of hooligans. We are not scared and we are even more determined.”
