ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has expressed gratitude to Overseas Pakistanis for reposing their trust in the motherland.

In a statement on Twitter on Wednesday, the prime minister said that our government stands firmly behind the Roshan Digital Account scheme.

Shahbaz Sharif expressed happiness that on June 21, the State Bank of Pakistan received US$ 57 million, the largest inflow in a day ever. He said that we have now crossed US$ 4.5 billion in total deposits.

“I thank overseas Pakistanis for reposing their trust in the motherland,” he said.
