Government of PakistanPM Shahbaz Sharif leaves for Saudi Arabia on three-day visit

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday left for Saudi Arabia on a three-day visit from April 6 to 8, 2024 by a commercial airline.

During his visit, the prime minister was accompanied by the Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Privatisation Minister Abdul Aleem Khan, Information Minister Atta Tarar, and Economic Affairs Minister Ahad Cheema.

The prime minister will perform Umrah and offer prayers at the Masjid Nabwi Al-Sharif.

Shahbaz Sharif is expected to meet the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and discuss issues of mutual interest.

The two leaders will also exchange views on regional and global developments.
