PM Imran Khan reviews progress on implementation of “Ehsaas Program”

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday chaired a meeting in Islamabad to review the progress on implementation of “Ehsaas Program“.

During the meeting, timelines for implementation of various policy actions of the “Ehsaas Program” including Tahaffuz, Kifalat, Housing for orphans and destitute, nutrition, district development portals, and employment etc were reviewed.

In his remarks, the prime minister said that “Ehsaas” is the flagship program of the present government and is aimed at addressing the issue of poverty alleviation in a comprehensive manner.

The prime minister said that the government wants to ensure complete transparency in all programs including Bait-ul-Mal etc so that the element of discretion could be eliminated.
