ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday launched the Mobile App “Zindagi” a significant progress in the context of controlling narcotics.

All necessary information about narcotics control will be available through the Mobile App “Zindagi”.

While addressing the launching ceremony, the prime minister said that drugs are destroying the life of our youth and all out efforts will be made to eradicate this scourge.

The prime minister regretted that the use of drugs starts at school level and the addicted persons are involved in other crimes too.

Referring to another problem facing the society, the prime minister said that incidents of child abuse are also increasing in the society for which awareness has to be created to eradicate this menace.

Imran Khan appreciated the awareness book on drugs launched on the occasion and said it needs to be introduced at all schools for increasing knowledge and awareness.

Meanwhile addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Health Services Dr Zafar Mirza said that Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of 2030 is the most comprehensive and ambitious agenda to ensure development of this planet.

Dr Zafar Mirza said that targets of health sector can be achieved through policy making based on knowledge and its proper implementation.
