Passport Tracking Online Method The passport tracking online method is a simple and easy process. Before you begin, you may need to make sure that you have a stable working internet connection. You will need to open the online tracking portal website (the link will be up soon). Once you are on the website portal, you will be able to find a login button. Choose the option to create a new user and start adding your authentic biodata. Once you fill in the required information, you will be directed to another landing page. Here, you will enter the following listed information. Name Phone CNIC Address 11-digit Token Number Please note that the information should be entered accurately. Online portals entertain precise information data. Double-check the entered details before submitting them to avoid any inconvenience later. Is Passport Tracking Online Service Charged? The tracking service is free of cost. If your added information will be correct, you will successfully log into the portal. The page will consist of all the relevant information to your passport for your review. It is important to mention that the portal only allows three tracking attempts per day. This means that you can check the status of your passport no more than three times a day. Passport Issuance Procedure First Step - Applicant's arrival at the customer service booth The candidates willing to apply for their passport will visit their regional passport office for the applications.  The customer service booth will provide instructions to proceed further in the process. Second Step - Token and Photograph The applicants will be required to submit copies of their original CNIC/Smart-Card/NICOP or Children Registration Certificate (CRC) - For ages under 18, and bank challan form. The applicants will now proceed to the photo booth for their passport pictures. After taking the photo, the candidates will be issued a token containing a number. Third Step - Biometric Data Entry Once the applicants have the token, they will approach the Biometric counter for fingerprints. The data entry executive will ask for a total of four fingerprints - right thumb, right index finger, left thumb, and left index finger. PM Imran Khan says that Pakistan will soon have an online voting system. Fourth Step - Data Entry for Passport Profile After biometric submissions, the applicants will arrive at the data entry counters (when the token number appears on the display). Here, the data entry operator will add all the recorded information about the candidate and create his/her file. The applicants will also be able to see the entered data. The applicants will have to be attentive during the data entry process to point out any corrections in the data. Once the form will be completed, the data entry operator will print the form and share it with the applicant to cross-check the added information. After verification, the data entry operator will sign the form for further proceeding. (Once the form is signed, no information can be modified) The applicants will then receive a duplicate copy of the token which will be used for tracking the passport status. Fifth Step - Verification for Official Records (ECL/BL) In this step, the applicant's data will be verified for official record clearance. Applicants will be verified for Exit Control List (ECL) and Black List (BL). Sixth Step - Interview by Assistant Director and Decision In the final phase of the application process, the applicants will appear before Assistant Director (after the token number appears on the display). Assistant Director will carry over the applications for those who are under 18 while handing over the printed form. The applicants will be required to get their photographs attested from a Class 1 Govt. officer. The attester will be required to include his/her CNIC/Contact information along with the official stamp. Once the attested data form is submitted, the deferred token will be allowed to proceed without objection. Expected Collection Time The applicants can apply for two scenarios: Normal Passport - Takes 10 working days for collection. Urgent Passport - Takes 4 working days for collection. Online Tracking Process The process of tracking your passport information online is simple and easy. The Government of Pakistan has introduced the E-Sahulat portal to help passport applicants track their status online. All you need to do is to have your CNIC with you because online tracking requires your national ID. Before the online portal, the applicants faced a lot of hassle in visiting the passport centers. More often than not, the applicants who arrived early in the morning had to wait long hours stretching till late afternoon. The government is taking great initiatives to introduce online systems in most of the state institutions.
