ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Parliamentary Party has expressed complete confidence in Omar Ayub Khan as the Party’s Secretary General and unanimously resolved that his resignation may not be accepted.

In its meeting held on Friday, the Parliamentary Party unanimously passed resolution and expressed complete confidence in Omar Ayub Khan as the PTI Secretary General.

   

“Parliamentary Party unanimously resolves that his resignation may not be accepted and he may be directed to continue as Secretary General of the party,” the resolution reads.

The Parliamentary Party also strongly condemned media reports about a so-called “Forward Bloc” and marked that there is no “Forward Bloc” within the parliamentary party, or the party, and all are united under the leadership of the Founding and Chairman for life, Imran Khan.
