Monitoring Desk: Reports arriving from northern Afghanistan suggests that Panjshir Valley is under attack and Afghan Taliban are deploying troops after receiving information from local commanders that this strategic region is slipping from their hands. However, no official information received whether it is because of any Pakistani attack or attack from Afghan Resistance Movement.
According to available information ‘there were heavy causalities and Afghan Taliban are busy in shifting injured. There were sounds of firing and some sound of fighter jets but nothing is confirmed what is happening there’.

On the other hand, Taliban circles in Kabul confirmed that Pakistan Air Force (PAF) struck four Taliban military sites across Kabul and more than 50 Taliban terrorists killed and over 150 wounded in these strikes there that include Qari Ahmad Shah, son of Haji Mohammad Nabi, from Deh Rawood District, Uruzgan Province, Rafiullah, son of Haji Mohammad Qasim, from Nirkh District, Maidan Wardak Province, Hafiz Sanaullah Zadran, son of Ahmad Ali Jan, from Paktia Province, Abdul Jabbar Ghazi, from central Paktia Province and Islamuddin Sahil, son of Haji Momin Khan, from Logar Province.
Report further suggests that near Darul Aman in Kabul, the 313 Central Corps’ First Infantry Brigade Headquarters was also hit, resulting in heavy Taliban casualties but Taliban are not handing dead bodies to their families so their burials could determine who had been killed in these strikes.
