  • Total reserves: $12.4 billion, up by $90.5 million
  • SBP reserves: $7.2 billion, up $77 million
  • Commercial Banks reserves: $5.1 billion, up by $13.5 million

KARACHI, Pakistan: The Country’s total liquid foreign reserves jumped by US$ 90.5 million to stand at US$ 12.39 billion by November 24, 2023.

The latest data shared by the State Bank of Pakistan showed that the total liquid foreign reserves held by the Country as of November 24, 2023 were US$ 12,392.8 million.

Likewise, the Central Bank’s foreign reserves also rose to US$ 7.25 billion in the week ended on November 24, showing an increase of US$ 77 million.

The reserves held by the Central Bank stood at US$ 7,257.0 million by Thursday last whereas previously they were US$ 7,180.0 million.

Whereas the Commercial Banks had foreign reserves of US$ 5,135.8 million as of November 17, registering an increase of US$ 13.5 million.Pakistan’s foreign reserves rise to $12.39 billion
