KARACHI, Pakistan: The Country’s total liquid foreign reserves fell to US$ 14.2 billion by June 21, 2024 with a decrease of US$ 207.3 million, according to the latest statistics released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

The data revealed that the total liquid foreign reserves held by the Country as of June 21, 2024 were US$ 14,207.3 million.

The statistics showed that the Central Bank’s own reserves were also reduced by US$ 238.9 million to stand at US$ 8.9 billion.

The reserves held by the SBP stood at US$ 8,895.8 million in the week ended on June 21 whereas previously they were US$ 9,134.7 million.

Whereas the Commercial Banks had foreign reserves of US$ 5,311.5 million, showing an increase of US$ 31.6 million.Pakistan’s foreign reserves fall to $14.2 billion
