KARACHI, Pakistan: The Country’s total liquid foreign reserves slightly dipped by US$ 41 million to stand at US$ 14.58 billion by May 17, 2024, showed the statistics released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

The latest data showed that the total liquid foreign reserves held by the Country as of May 17, 2024 were US$ 14,585.4 million.

However, the statistics showed, that the Central Bank’s own reserves grew by US$ 21.5 million to reach US$ 9.15 billion.

The reserves held by the SBP stood at US$ 9,157.0 million in the week ended on May 17 whereas previously they were US$ 9,135.5 million.

Whereas the Commercial Banks had foreign reserves of US$ 5,428.4 million, showing a decrease of US$ 62.5 million.Pakistan’s foreign reserves down by $41 million
