ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan’s exports to the United States during the Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 increased by 39% to US$ 5.2 billion as compared to US$ 3.7 billion recorded during the FY 2020, registering an increase of around US$ 1.45 billion.

“This is the first time in our history that our exports to the US have crossed the US$ 5 billion mark,” the Prime Minister’s Adviser for Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood wrote on Twitter on Monday.

   

The adviser commended the efforts of Pakistan’s exporters and the Trade and Investment Officers (TIOs) in the US.

Abdul Razak Dawood urged the Ministry of Commerce’s Trade & Investment Officers at Pakistan’s Trade Mission in Washington DC, Pakistan’s Trade Mission in New York, and Pakistan’s Trade Officer in Houston to provide all possible facilitation to our exporters for enhancing our exports further.
