Fraud drama is also one of the dramas that is depicting the hypocrisy prevailing in society. The drama comes on-air on ARY Digital. It is directed by Saqib Khan. Zanjabeel Asim Khan has penned down the script. Abdullah Seja has produced it under the banner of iDream entertainment. The drama stars big names in our industry like Saba Qamar, Mikal Zulifqar, Ahsan Khan, and Asma Abbas.

Fraud Drama Story Overview

Fraud drama

The drama is concerned with the story of a girl named Maya, played by Saba Qamar. She belongs to a middle-class family where getting the daughters married is a big responsibility. Her father, Nisar, gives her hand in marriage to a rich man (Shujat) who owns a mansion in order to safeguard his daughter’s future. After a short time of marriage, Maya’s husband disappears.

Her family files a report about that but finds out that the man they are looking for is a fraudster. He marries girls, takes all of their money, and leaves them alone. This leaves Maya heartbroken so the family moves to Lahore from Karachi. Maya starts a job at a boutique.

The boutique owner has a stepson (Shaan) from whom she wants to snatch away all the wealth. She gets Maya married to him without telling him about Maya’s past. On the other hand, Shujat has married Shaan’s sister and lives in the same house as Maya. Upon finding out, Shaan kicks Maya out of the house and believes everything that his stepmother has to say.

After Maya leaves, Shaan’s stepmother tricks him into getting all the property from him and leaves him empty-handed. We have to wait till the last episode to find out what will the characters do afterwards.
