BEIJING: A high-level Pakistani delegation arrived in Beijing which was received by the Pakistan’s ambassador to China Masood Khalid at the airport.

The delegation headed by Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif will hold talks with Chinese officials to step up work on Chinese funded projects in Pakistan during its stay in Beijing.

It will also hold discussion about starting work on Pak-China economic corridor, energy projects, Quaid-e-Azam Apparel Park in Lahore and cooperation in textile field.

Moreover, matters pertaining to Gwadar, Gaddani and Thar Coal projects will also come under discussion.



The delegation includes the Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, the Secretary Economic Affairs Division Saleem Sethi and the Secretary Water and Power Nargis Sethi.
