Pakistani courts showed leniency towards culprits of May 9, while Trump announced...

Monitoring Desk: The mutiny of May 9, 2023, has been under question in Pakistani courts, and thousands of cases were considered as “political” by the courts and hundreds of those involved in attacking military installations were allowed to contest the General Elections 2024, and they are now sitting in the parliament of Pakistan. However, it has again been testified by the statement of US President Trump that the use of violence is propagative of the state, not of the mob.

“Generations of army heroes did not shed their blood on distant shores only to watch our country be destroyed by invasion”, said President Trump.

US President Trump has called the attackers involved in recent riots that took place in several states of the United States

rebels and decided to try them under the law of sedition.

Pakistani courts took almost two years to decide whether culprits of the May 9 mutiny should be tried under military courts or civilian courts, and hundreds of lower courts gave culprits bail and even acquittal to hundreds of culprits. Pakistani courts forget May 9, while Trump announced that those who attacked the US military will be considered rebels.

Aljazeera reported that:

US President Donald Trump reconfirmed that the US will use the National Guard and Marines against protesters in Los Angeles, despite growing condemnation. Speaking to a congressional panel, Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth said the military is “entering another phase,” which could see the US National Guard be deployed more often in domestic contexts, regardless of state officials’ approval.
