KARACHI: Some twenty suspects have been arrested during targeted operation in Gulshan-e-Bonir launched by paramilitary forces, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on Tuesday.

Rangers launched targeted operation in Gulshan-e-Bonir area of Landhi on a tip-off about the presence of accused involved in Landhi blast and nabbed 20 suspects, Sindh Rangers spokesman Colonel Shafiq Niazi said.

The sources said the Rangers operation was aided by helicopters. Nearby area was cordoned off before the launch of operation. Raids were also conducted in Bufferzone, Liaquatabad and Surjani town. Several suspects were also apprehended during the raids.

It is pertinent to mention that father and son were killed and eight others were injured in a blast near cigarette cabin in Landhi on Monday.
