LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi said on Saturday that if voted to power‚ PTI party will end traditional politics and build a new Pakistan, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.

In his address to a mammoth public gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore on Saturday, Qureshi said PTI has become a force to bring to an end the traditional politics of Pakistan.

The PTI senior leader said in 1940 people supported for Pakistan and today people demanded to build a new Pakistan.

Qureshi said today country is passing through a critical time with high poverty and inflation and depilated economy. Only PTI can change the circumstances in Imran Khan’s leadership, he said.

He highlighted the achievements demonstrated by PTI chief Imran Khan in the field of sports, health and education.

He stated Imran Khan has achieved what was being labeled by many as unachievable by holding intra-party elections.

“I supported Imran Khan by leaving the politics of traditional politics,” Qureshi added. He called upon people to support the PTI in the coming elections.

The PTI leader said that he was criticized when he decided to join Imran Khan at a time when he had offers from PML-N and PPP. Now his decision has proven correct. He asked public to vote for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf if they want change in the country.
