PakistanPTI to contest elections alone: Imran Khan

HARIPUR: The Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan said on Tuesday that his party would contest the upcoming elections alone and defeat the forces of status quo, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.

In his address to a grand jirga of local elders in Abbottabad, Khan said that his party, if elected, would remove the deprivations of the Hazara region.

The PTI chief said that his party would stage the biggest gatherings of the country’s history in Peshawar and Minar-e-Pakistan on March 10 and 23 respectively.

Earlier, he addressed public meetings at Cantonment Chowk and Hawalian and strictly criticized both the PPP and PML-N. He said that he would dismantle the family limited companies of two parties after coming into power.
