PakistanPTI nominates Mian Mehmood Ur Rasheed as parliamentary leader in Punjab Assembly

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday nominated Mian Mehmood Ur Rasheed as PTI’s parliamentary leader in Punjab Assembly.

The decision came in the first meeting of party’s parliamentary board which was presided over by PTI Punjab chief Ejaz Chaudhry. Newly elected members of the party also attended the meeting.

Speaking to media persons after the meeting, Chaudhry called for re-count on 20 MNA and MPA seats in Punjab. He demanded that ECP order re-polling at these constituencies.

To a question, he said that people were holding protests across Punjab on their own and that ECP would look into their demands.

On this occasion, Mian Mahmood said that his party would play a role of exemplary opposition in Punjab.
