ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari is visiting Ashgabat on Wednesday at the invitation extended by Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, the President will participate in Nauroz, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on Tuesday.
The President will participate in Nauroz or spring festival in Turkmenistan, Tasadduq Hussain, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan‚ said.
Hussain said that heads of state and government of ten other countries‚ including Iran and Tajikistan‚ are also visiting Ashgabat on this occasion.
The Ambassador said that the visit will further consolidate Pakistan’s historic‚ cultural and religious relations with the Central Asian state.
