PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly was dissolved on Tuesday after the Governor Engineer Shaukatullah received the advice sent by the Chief Minister to dissolve the provincial assembly.
Earlier in the day, Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa province Ameer Haider Khan Hoti had sent an advice to the provincial Governor Engineer Shaukatullah requesting the dissolution of the KP assembly.
Justice (retd) Tariq Pervez, who was nominated as caretaker chief minister of the province on Mar 15, will be sworn in tomorrow (Wednesday) evening.
