QUETTA: Ghaus Bakhsh Barozai has been sworn in as caretaker chief minister of Balochistan at a ceremony in Quetta on Saturday afternoon, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.
Governor Balochistan Nawab Zulfiqar Magsi administered the oath to Barozai. Former chief minister Aslam Raisani was also present in the ceremony.
Later talking to media‚ the caretaker Chief Minister said that free fair and transparent elections will be ensured. He said the provincial cabinet will not be above more than 10 ministers.
Barozai said that steps will be taken for maintaining law and order in Balochistan.
