Four NGO workers kidnapped in Karachi

KARACHI: Unidentified gunmen kidnapped four workers of a local NGO in the city’s suburb of Maripur on Thursday evening, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on Friday.

Two women, identified as Shakeela and Niala, were also taken hostage by the kidnappers, but later they were released.

According to police officials, the NGO workers were on their way in a car when they were kidnapped from Maripur area. The kidnapped staff members were Engineer Amjad Siyal, Rafiq, Khurram Abbas and their driver Humayoun.
